i like this drama, a lot. love love love Eguchi Yosuke, ang papa!

Anyway, feel good drama, feel hungry drama (makes me wanna eat omurice with demiglace sauce..). Star studded too. Sort of Waterboys reunion + Akira (Yamashita-something) + Hermes-san ++

It's a really good drama.

Yup, I also thought na mas bagay si Natsumi at si Eguchi Yosuke...although I'm a big fan of Tsumabuki Satoshi! Nakakatuwa kasi andaming familiar faces dito, halo-halo na sila. Hermes and Densha Otoko (the movie version) and Waterboys and Yamapi at kung sino sino pa ^_^

so easy to make an omurice. but demiglace sauce...argghhh! too many ingredients and long time to acquire the desired taste. however, bec of this series i became conscious of the importance of lunch. true, nakaka-gutom itong series na 'to.

also this drama makes me realize how the japanese people put high value on their food/meals. as if, mealtime is the best time of the day for them. 

light good drama-comedy and kakui lahat ang cast.

I tried looking for a good omurice here in Metro Manila but can't find one. It seems my mother has cooked the best so far.

I would really like to taste demiglace sauce but I found out that it takes like 10 hours to make. Mauubos gasul naman dyan eh. Hehe. Yun din pala yung rason kung bakit yung tatay sa Lunch Queen nakatayo ng magdamag dun sa tabi ng kalan. Hahaluin kasi yun ng sampung oras din eh. Nya!

Just a bit of trivia on the Lunch no Joou bida, Takeuchi Yuko. She used to be married to Kabuki actor Nakamura Shido, who portrayed Lieutenant Itou in Letters from Iwojima and provided the voice of Ryuk in the Death Note movies and anime series. ^_^

Their divorce in 2006 was one of the most talked about stories for the year.  

Another bit of Lunch Queen trivia -

The family name なべしま Nabeshima is in reference to  なべ 'nabe' as in 'pot' or 'saucepan'. ^_^ Since the family business is a restaurant, the name really suits them well. ^_^

Also, the 4 children of Nabeshima had interesting names as well:

• Kenichiro 健一郎
  
• Yujiro 　祐二郎
• Junzaburo　順三郎
• Koshiro 小四郎

Bakit hindi ka approve sa love thing ni Jun-kun at Nat-chan? Ako rin eh, nagtatalo kung sino ang mas gusto ko for Nat-chan, kung si Yujiro ba o si Jun... Mas gusto ko sana si Yujiro pero, sa akin na lang sya. mwahahahaha... joke lang. hehe

After watching Lunch no Joou, I felt an urge to buy an omurice meal whenever I see one.  So far, I have only eaten at Jipan's.  But they don't have the demiglace sauce...ketchup lang. =(. hehehe.

 Naawa akko kay Yu-ni lalo na nung paalis na yung babaeng mahal niya.  Sometimes it makes us wonder if just loving someone has any reward at all...well, at least kahit papaano, na-appreciate naman yung mga ginawa nya...
