    Synopsis:
    Adapted from the best selling manga series written by Ohba Tsugumi, Death Note is the story of Light Yagami, a student whose life changes drastically when he finds a mysterious notebook dropped into the world by Ryuk, a Shinigami (Death god). This notebook, called Death Note, kills anyone whose name is written in it.

    Though skeptical at first, Light eventually admits the power of the Death Note, and uses it on a 'killing spreee' of criminals until he becomes known as the mysterious killer named "Kira". Kira's actions earned him the praise and condemnation of the public, and the attention of the International Criminal Police Organization (ICPO) and a brilliant detective only known as L.

    Kakatapus ko lang panuorin itung 2 movie ng Death Note err bakit nataloo c KIRA kay L anu kaya yun bakit ganun nanyari mas gus2 ko pa manga at anime kac nanalo c KIRA hahaha

    Spin off movie on “DEATH NOTE” live film to be released in 2008

    It was announced that a spin off on the successful “DEATH NOTE” live film will focus on the character L played by Matsuyama Kenichi.  The film is supervised by RING director Nakata Hideo and will have a 2008 release date.

    “DEATH NOTE” is a film based on a popular manga by Tsugumi Ooba.  The film is about “DEATH NOTES”, a killing device used by Shinigamis when a name is written on a death note, that person will die. A high school student named Light finds the death note and is used by him to kill of criminals.  But when many criminals start dying, government wants to know who is behind it and the the only person to find out who is committing the murders is a master detective and mysterious person named L.

    Ganun talaga. Di hamak na mas maraming fans si L kesa kay Kira. We're still cheering on the right side of justice, after all. Wahaha! I'm trying to make L converts out of my friends. So far, isa na lang sa kanila ang loyal kay Kira. Lahat sila, bumaligtad na kay L. May isa namang nakakairita...kasi gusto nya daw si MisaMisa. Boink!

    Because Kira has a twisted notion of justice, that's why. While L is also not right in his 'quest for justice', still he is on the lesser evil side. Kira has been consumed by his ambition to be the god of the new world (or something) that he already lost the 'sense' of what is inherently right.

    Regarding L losing to Kira, it is a fact. But still you cannot deny that what he started helped Near and Mello to defeat Kira. He was instrumental in that victory.

    Yup you're right in that point. Peru nanalo sila Near at Mello kasi pagnagcombine sila they are more superior than L. Waa marami talaga ang taong may gusto kay L. Peru sa tutuo lang kay Kira ko talaga nakita yung justice, hindi ko kac tinitignan ung side na gusto nya maging God. I just love the fact that he's killing all the bad people and making the world a great place to live ehehe.
