Synopsis

Four schoolboys find themselves the last virgins left at school. During the summer holidays, a girl they knew as children 11 years ago, moves back to the neighborhood. Despite their childhood attraction to her, they realize she is a mere shadow of the "princess" they all thought they knew. This story of summer - love, friendship, school, family, the hypocrisy of adults, complications of life, experience and failure is set in an everyday shopping district and shows the clumsiness of children who have developed a little later than their peers. It's a bright romantic comedy that both young and old can appreciate.

yeah.......i've watched the drama, and some part are very funny and theres a lesson in this comedy drama too for youngster and adults also........."i really love one guy there in stand up, he doesnt play a big role there but for sure you will also hook up for him, he is sooooooo kakkoi....he is also one of the famous kakkoi star in japan and he did a lot of dramas and movies too...my heart beats for him so much.........

Hmmm...I think I have an idea who you are referring to...His real name is Tsukamoto Takashi? I think he also appeared in Battle Royale (the student who hacked into the government's system and disabled their collars??) and Kizarazu Cat's Eye. Siya nga ba yun?! If he is, sobrang kakkoii nga!!

If I remember correctly, he was that troublemaker who was kicked out from school. The guy who beat up the PE teacher and the volleyball team? Kung mali, manood ulit ng Gokusen! Hehe. Dami na kasing napapanood na J-dorama ngayon, nakakalimutan ko na kung sino-sino ba yan. Hehe.

so ayun, back to Stand Up.. really funny series. pero hindi mashadong nagrate sa Japan, 11-12% lang yata average rate nito.

Narimiya ba? Naku, I like this guy. Pang-character actor ang dating. He is usually cast as the 'pasaway' but that just says a lot about his versatility as an actor. Di lang sya puro pa-cute. I like him in Orange Days. Pasaway pa rin, pero mellowed version na. Hehe.

hellow nightowl.......juz want to ask something.....where can I watch or to get a dvd or vcd copy of taiyo no uta???(with english subtitle.)..is that the series where he is a japanese teacher for chinese students or mandarin teacher for japanese....????basta teacher sya, un ba yun......db 2 episodes yun.with different artist yung first half......am i right???? grabe he's is so kakkoi......haaayyy ang daming wafu sa japanese teens and young adult.......but he is my no.1.........hihii....

Yup, she is. Well, part British, part Japanese. Yung mga "half-blood" na tulad nya (Western and Japanese) are most often than not well appreciated in Japan. Obvious naman kung titignan mo sya na hindi sya 100% Japanese, di rin 100% foreign. Mas napansin ko lang sa Stand Up si Suzuki Anne kasi major character sya, together with the boys.
