@ dareka: I was able to watch Ken's MTV Unplugged concert on DVD. He sang 'Nagare boshi', only the title was "Gaining through losing" and he had a choir singing with him. Maybe that's another version of the song.

To promote his new single 'fake star', singer-songwriter Hirai Ken (35) recently shot a sexy PV with him in a sexy bed scene with a blond-haired beauty.

The shocking PV was shot in Prague, Czech Republic. Hirai said it has been a long time since he last went abroad for a shoot and totally enjoyed filming the PV, wherein he is in a complicated relationship with two beautiful women.

Hirai and the production staff were in Prague for a week for the shoot. Hirai says he wishes to go back to Prague for a private vacation.

'fake star' will also be used as the image song for Meiji Seika's 'Fran'. The Fran CM will be on-air starting August 21.

Singer-songwriter Hirai Ken opened a masquerade ball on the evening of September 9th at Sapporo Xanadu (Chuo-ku, Sapporo). This ball is a part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the opening of FM Hokkaido.

Hirai performed 4 songs, including his new single "fake star" (due for release Sep 12) to a masked crowd of 250 people.
