Synopsis

Goro Zaizen and Shuji Satomi are assistant professors at Naniwa University Hospital. Goro is a brilliant surgeon who will do anything to make his way up the corporate ladder. On the other hand, Shuji is a physician who earnestly devotes himself to medical research. Though the two doctors have contrasting personalities and are considered to be rivals, they highly recognize each other's skills.

The entire medical department is restless while preparing for the election to choose a new Surgical Department Professor. All Goro has on his mind, is how to win the election. Meanwhile, Shuji is looking after a patient who apparently has pancreatic cancer. He carries out tests on the patient cautiously, and is very careful in telling the patient of the cancer. However, Goro barges in on their conversation, and out of the blue, tells the patient he has cancer, and that he needs an operation right away. Shuji is furious at Goro's rude attitude, and yells, "Doctors are not God!" Goro ignores this, and starts laying the groundwork for the operation. But when Goro finds out that the Director of the Medical Department has already given a diagnosis of stomach cancer, he cancels the operation. He feels that pointing out his boss's misdiagnosis will only hurt him in the upcoming election. Shuji however, is determined to save the patient's life and go on with the operation. -- JDorama.com

Ayan! may thread na sha!

First drama na napanood ko na related sa Shoah (Holocaust). May ep dito (11) na pumunta si Saizen sa Auschwitz! Ang astig kc related tlga! Haha, In your face, Zaizen!  

OMG! May tutee ako, adik sha at sinabi nya sakin na mejo tragic daw ang ending nito! @___@

This drama is not really into the med stuff like Iryu. Hnd sha mashadong nag-concentrate s details ng mga sakit. It's more on relationships, the rotten politics underneath the med faculties of university hospitals, some legal issues such as med malpractice, and we can't forget, the idealism of what it really means to be a doctor. XD

Ep 12 pa lng ako so hnd ko p alam kung ano ang future ni Zaizen at Satomi! IMHO, one thing's clear. Using underhanded means to get what you want never pays off in the end.  

Very good drama! Sobrang serious nga lng and depressing. hehehe 

 Wahh!! Ako lng nanonood nito! T___T

Panoorin nyo toh! super ganda!

Natapos ko n toh, 3 days ago? hnd pa rin ako maka get over... mashadong malungkot.. pinaka malungkot na ending na dramang napanood ko. Lahat kc ng mga jdorama, happy ending, eto ewan ko b dito! Wahhh!! I'm still depressed! T___T

Tpos lagi ko pang naaalala ung pagpnta ni Zaizen sa Auschwitz! Sa last ep, bglang naalala nya ulit ung time na tumapak sha sa gitna nung riles kung san sinesegregate ung abled at "others". Waahh! @__@ 

Ung Auschwitz daw parang judgment place kung san pinipili kung sino ung ppntang heaven or hell. Pero ang difference, parehong hell ung pagpipilian, ibang degrees lng. Lungkot nmn nun!  

Tpos may reference din sa mga doctors na gumagawa ng human experiments (Dr Mengele!!!) nung Shoah at mga doctors na ginagamit ung skills nila to kill people or to bring pain to others. Naku! Tablado si Zaizen! hahaha

Haha, nakaka-depress ba? Kasi nakita kong medical-legal ang genre nya kaya feel ko tuloy panoorin e. Na-DL mo lang to? Eguchi Yousuke -- yay!

Wahh!! Sobrang depressing! as in! panoorin nyo toh! Mas maganda toh s iryu. mas seryoso kc ung mga issues. At si Zaizen, ung bida, mas tao kaysa kay Asada. haha. Zaizen has ambitions but he also has a strong conscience. Kaya laging nag-cclash. Kaya nga sbi nya, takot sha kay Satomi at never shang mananalo against sa knya! XD

Si Eguchi Yousuke si Satomi-sensei dito! Wahh! sha ung doctor na idealist. pero naiyak din ako s mga nangyari s knya. If no good deed goes unpunished, dito sa Shiroi Kyotou, it's both punished and rewarded! hahaha.

Magaling din nmn si Karasawa Toshiaki as Zaizen! Idol ko tlga mga theater actors!! woohoo!! 

Ung 2nd half nitong drama, mas nagconcentrate na s legal part so maraming scenes s court. Sbi ko nga kay Spitz-san, magugustuhan nya toh kc nag-i-igiari ung mga lawyers dito. XD

Dinownload ko lng po! Sini-seed ko nga sha para marami pang maka-enjoy. Halos dead na kc ung torrent. T__T Mejo puro maling grammar nga lng ung subs nito pero keri lng. hehe

Tpos ung Amazing Grace na ending/insert song, sbrang bagay na bagay kay Zaizen. every time na pinapatugtog toh s mga scenes na dramatic, talagang grabeh ung iyak ko! nyahaha! 

 Nakakasuka ang pulitika sa mga tagpo dito. Nakakapagpa init ng ulo. Masyado silang nagugumon sa kapangyarihan at posisyon.

Makulit yung dalawang adviser ni Zaizen-sensei grrrr. .  Ito ay hindi nangyayari lamang sa mundo ng medisina kungdi sa lahat. Ang mga nasa "working class" ay pawang lubos na makakadama at makakaunawa dito.

Ilan lamang ang kilala ko sa mga karakter dito. Ang babae na gumanap na FA sa Goodluck ay sya ring nagtratrabaho sa bar na laging pinupuntahan ni Dr. Zaizen. Sina Prof. Ugai at si Dr. Satomi na pamilyar ang mga mukha na di ko na maalala kung saan pa sila gumanap.

Nangyayari cguro toh pero hnd pare parehong level. Sa hospitals, kunwari. Grabeh tlga ung politics sa Japan pero hnd naman ganung level ng politics ang sa Phils or sa US. XD

Naiinis ka n ba kay Saizen? pero matutununan mo rin shang mahalin.. esp sa huli!
