Do you know that...

the bus company, Philippine Rabbit should had been named "Philippine Rappid" instead?

The guy who painted the first five buses of the company was unfortunately a little drunk and thought that "Philippine Rabbit" is the right name. Na-surpresa na lang yung mga may ari ng kumpanya at yun ang nilagay nya. Kaya di na lang nila pinabura pintura ng mga bus. Yung pangalan na lang ng kumpanya ang pinabago. 

Hehe, magkaroon din kaya ng Philippine Carrot? XD

Alam ba ninyo na ang ibig sabihin ng "kangaroo" ay "hindi ko alam"?

Ang scientist kasi na nagpangalan sa kangaroo ay nagtanong sa isang Australian aborigine kung ano ang pangalan ng hayop na ito. Sabi ng aborigine ay hindi niya alam at inakala ng scientist na kangaroo nga ang pangalan ng hayop na yun. *boing... boing...*

Na nung nagsisimula pa lang ang Mercury Drug ay may kalaban siyang malaking drugstore na pangalan ay Kumander Drugstore (courtesy of my late Lolo). Hehe.

Pero alam ba ninyo na ang ginagamit na pampapink color ng strawberry milk ay isang uri ng maliit na insekto na nakatira sa loob ng mga cactus? Opo! Insekto nga po!

Ang insektong Dactylopius coccus costa ay tinutuyo at dinudurog saka pinapakuluan para kunin ang katas nito na kulay dark red. Ipinapatak ito sa gatas na puti at nagkukulay pink na ang strawberry milk! Yum yum! Pero wag po kayong mag-alala! Aprubado naman ng Federal Bureau of Food Safety at ng ating BFAD ang insektong ito bilang ligtas na food coloring.

 

 

 mmm, alam nyo po ba na the movie THE GLADIATOR starring russell crowe , was first offered to MEL GIBSON???mmm, mel didnt take the project kasi he thought na he already did that before, he had BRAVE HEART kasi in mind (one of my fave movies of all time) hehehe

  Ito ba yung carmine? If it's the same insect, ginagamit din ito sa makeup ^_^

 did you know that l most beautiful cave in the world is Lechuguilla.. :-), the inside of the caves are filled woth minerals that took thousands of years to form and not everyone is welcome to enter it, i think you have to apply for a permit or something but its rare that people are allowed :-), it remains untouched and its astonishing hehehe

nagsimula pa nung Victorian Era, mahal ang mga buttons kaya yung mga wealthy lang ang gumagamit nito.. Ang mga babae ay may mga servants na taga-suot ng damit nila, most of the people are right handed, that's why their buttons was put on the left side, which is the servant's right. tapos ginaya nalang nung mga feeling wealthy,hehe. kaya hanggang ngayon, nasa left side.  Ang mga lalake naman ang nagbibihis talaga sa sarili nila kaya nasa right side talaga ang buttons..

did you not that...that majority of fortune tellers are females :-), it was proven that by women are better "readers" than men ..women have better intuitions than men, and their hunches are more likely to be correct than that of a male..it is said that this fact is from birth,one reason is that women , are mothers therefore they are the once that is more likely to  to read babies cries, if the baby is ill or not feeling better ,hungry etc. with no verbal communication,therefore women are better "readers" of the non spoken language of the body :-)
