Anyway, I want to ask anyone who knows and had shopped from play-asia.com..I don't have credit card to buy ayumi hamasaki cd at yesasia or cdjapan so I look for another site and here it is.. they have western union method so it's applicable to me. So can anyone help me and teah me anything and everything about play-asia.com?? please I really need your help.... thank you very much....

Hi rusuke-san! I really do not recommend using Wester Union because the fees can be quite expensive, especially if you're going to buy more than once. The best way is to probably get a debit card. (If you're in the Philippines, the only debit card that allows you to purchase from online stores I know of is from Unionbank. Sana hindi ito spam)

So,

If you're buying just once - Western Union is ok

If you're buying more than once - Get a debit card

About the debit card everybody recommends that to me but I can't afford to get that since I'm still a student and I still don't have a consistent income to pay for the bills.... thanks for the reply

It will depend on where they are. Just make sure you're gonna buy just once, because it will be more expensive in the long run.

About the Debit card, I got mine when I was 15. High school pa ako nun, so no income. Debit cards are different from CCs because they are linked to a deposit account, so you cannot exceed your spending kung kulang pera mo sa account. Basically, it's a glorified ATM account. (And in my bank, they allow you to sign-up without your parent's consent. Weird no? Unionbank charges 350 a year [i think its the same if you want to open one], plus it has no maintaining balance. Although I'm looking for another bank.) Plus you can buy from other stores, for example, Ayu's Guilty album is $29 (includes shipping) from YesAsia, Play-Asia has separate shipping charges. I'm just telling you this because, I thought I'm only going to buy just once...it totally didn't happen.

Wahh!  I've been to Quiapo a total of 4 times just to replenish my jdorama and anime supply...pero wala pa kaming nakikita na original cds dun!  Actually, we don't go to Quiapo na kasi marami na ring J-doramas sa StFrancis and sabi nila sa Makati Cinema Square.  Weeh, sama ako if you guys are going!

Nag-apply ako online, I filled the application form. They said that the card will be available in 5 WORKING days. I have to make a personal appearance and bring along a valid ID sa branch. I think that you should also have photocopies of the ID just in case (they will keep it in file).
