Aoyama Thelma has been one of the success stories for early-2008 with a hit CD single and also fans who have taken up her fashion style and are called "Thelma's". The singer performed at Shibuya's Parco with 800 fans who came to support the singer who performed a total of three songs.

i like Thelma Aoyama...she has nice songs&a very good voice to go with it...
one of my fave songs of her are"Koko ni Iru yo" with SoulJa...
i bought her recent album called "DIARY"
& it's a really good album...
minna-san should listen to her songs if you haven't already!

Short Profile:

Born on October 27, 1987 in Nara Prefecture. From the time she was ten years old, she remembers finding her passion for singing and began learning gospel. Having done collaboration works with 童子-T, DS455, and SPHERE of INFLUENCE, she released her debut single in September 2007 called “One Way”. Now her hit song in January 2008 with SoulJa called “Koko ni iru yo” (I’m here) is answered with another release called “Soba ni iru ne” (I’m here next to you).

Following the release of her number one single Soba ni Iru ne and a successful debut album, Aoyama Thelma returns on 2008.7.9 with her third single, 何度も (Nandomo), which will be released in CD+DVD and CD-only formats. The single is described a heart-breaking summer love song and will be used as the commercial theme for Nintendo's new game, "Band Brothers DX."

yun din ang tingin ko ^_^ ewan ko ba.. yung soba ni iru ne kasi eh pinagsawaan ko agad. yung Koko ni iru yo hindi pa.

Last week, my students in Japanese class insisted we listen to her song Soba ni Iru ne. OK naman, I like throathy voices like hers (over people like Ayumi and Boa). Ganda ng quality kasi buo. Pero yun nga, kung baga sa skin care, still not 'holy grail' material for me. Hehe. I will have to listen to her more, maybe she will grow on me Smile
