This the thread for everything about Yuna Ito! ^^,  I've been a big fan of her ever since I heard her sing in the movie, "Nana"  :)

Yuna Ito

Birth: born in Hawaii on Sept. 20th, 1983
Ethnicity: Japanese American Korean
-Loves 2 sing since she was young.
Fave childhood singers: Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey
-She returned 2 Japan after graduating high school and continued takin singing lessons.
-Debuted in NANA movie in early 2005.
-She was a secret in the industry 2 avoid conflict with Mika Nakashima. It wasn't until Sept. 7, 05 b4 she released ENDLESS STORY.
-ENDLESS STORY has been 2nd on the weekly music charts and 1st 4 several daily charts, selling more than 400,000 copies and being voted by Oricon-styled readers as the #1 Love Song of 2005.
-She won Best New Artist Award of 2005 for the Best Hit Song Festival.

itou yuna love! her voice and her songs are beautiful. first saw her on the NANA movie and i've been watching for her releases ever since. so far, my favorite single of hers is still "Losin'". looking forward to the new singles ^^

nope, marunong naman sya mag-Japanese. she just speaks english sa NANA kasi ung role nya dun is Serizawa Reira, who is also half-American in the manga ^^ Reira also speaks Japanese rin naman, I just dunno why they didn't let Yuna speak Nihongo in the movie. then again yknow Japs, they love English so much >__>

Yuna Ito's new single will crossover with Celine Dion! Although details are scarce, we will have to wait for more information to come!
