(ASIAN KUNG-FUGENERATION was the first band ever to join for Gotoh, Kita, and Yamada.) Later on, Ijichi, who was then already a major drummer of another college-band, joined three.

[2000: The band releases the first independent album with six songs (all lyrics written in English). The album was sold at clubs where the band played, and also through online shopping. ]

[2001: The band hosts several independent events including YMD at CLUB 24, Yokohama. In the same year, the band recorded their first written-in-Japanese song, Konayuki (Powder Snow) and began sending the tape to each music programs specializing in independent musicians of the several different FM radio stations. This effort led Konayuki to go on the air for the first time ever.
Later, the band released their 2nd independent album containing songs with lyrics in Japanese. The band began to draw a large number of audiences to their shows held in various clubs in Tokyo and other cities.
2001 was the year the band began playing regularly in Shibuya, Shimokitazawa, and Kichijo-ji with more-than-ever enthusiasm.

[2002: The band joins Under Flower Compilation]
In November, they officially released their first mini album HOUKAI AMPLIFIER (Destruction Amplifier). This self-prophetic album scored Number one hit of the High line Record Sales in consecutive weeks, and ranked as the 35th in ORICON sales chart also.

In the summer, the band played both in FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ROOKIE A GO GO and SUMMER SONIC f03 in Tokyo and Osaka.

haaay ajikan :)  ang signature band ni spitz-san..ÜÜ  hehehe.. recently lang ako naging listener ng band na to..  i think it started talaga nung time na niregaluhan ko si spitz-san nung christmas ng Ajikan PVs :)  natuwa ako sa mga songs nila and nakakatuwa yung boses ni Gotoh >.<

<3 nako nakakatuwa naman talaga pagkanta ni gocchi! parang si hyde, may sarili siyang style, pag narinig mo makikilala mo! diba? :D kaya pareho ko silang love XDDD

ang sad nga kasi ang ajikan nakilala talaga dahil sa Haruka Kanata at Rewrite, at hindi naman natin maipagkakaila na medyo magkatunog nga yung dalawa..kaya yung ibang tao, ayaw na sa kanila agad. BUT! if you listen to their other songs! Malalaman nyo na hindi naman puro ganun ang mga kanta nila! 

onga eh.  magkatunog. minsan pag naririnig ko yung kahit isa man sa dalawang kantang yun eh it takes times bago ko ma-process kung haruka kanata ba o riraito.. ^^,

yung boses ni Gotoh ay medyo parehas dun sa vocalist ng Remioromen. kaya minsan din, napagpapalit ko rin.

Gotoh Masafumi (30) of the popular 4-member rock band Asian Kung-fu Generation is now married, reports Hochi Yomiuri on the 22nd.

According to sources, Gotoh is now married to a non-celebrity woman whom he started dating when they debuted in 2002. haha! i shall move on! dun na nga lang ako sa drummer XD LOL marami pa naman jan XD anjan pa si Fujiwara Motoo ahehe Saka dumating naman na si Toma sa buhay ko WAHAHAHA! Teka nalilihis tau sa topic... Haay, pero malay natin diba? Cat-san, alam niyo ba kung anong date kinasal si Gocchi? hmmm malay natin lalo itong magpainspire kay Gocchi na gumawa ng mas magandang music diba? XD

love songs perhaps? ^^  wala pakong naririnig na ballad ng AKFG.

The new song of asian kung fu generation will be called After DARK AND WILL BE RELEASE 7TH NOVEMBER 2007!!

 Yay! Na eexcite na naman ako. Ang galing ng ajikan! I never felt this excited over a foreign/japanese band since i listened to Bump of Chicken and L'Arc~en~ciel!

Kakarinig ko lang ng  Haruka Kanata. Nagulat ako kasi naalala ko na ginamit 'to minsan bilang opening ng Naruto.

Ang sarap sabayan ng mga kanta nila (habang binabasa ang mga romanji lyrics ^___^).

Sometimes it just feels good screaming words you don't understand. Ang gaan gaan ng feeling ko pag ginagawa ko yun.
