On April 25th, BoA will release her upcoming CD single “Sweet Impact” on April 25th.  The song will be used in a commercial for Kose Fashio.  Currently BoA is on tour through the 22nd for “BOA ARENA TOUR 2007 -MADE IN TWENTY (20)”.

BoA completes “BoA Arena Tour 2007"

BoA completed her “BoA Arena Tour 2007″ at the Nagoya Rainbow Hall on April 22nd for 6,500 fans.

The tour started on March 31st and she performed at a total of four venues (7 concerts) in front of 60,000 people.

The 20-year-old performed a total of 21 songs including her new CD single “Sweet Impact” (which comes out on the 25th).

A sister?  As far as  I know, wala xang sister. Madalas din itanong ng mga tao yun pero ang alam ko talaga ay meron lang siyang Older brother. :D  yun dapat yung magiging singer eh, at hindi xa :D

E kasi, there's this VJ in the music show called Pops in Seoul. It is hosted by a girl named Soy/Soi, who kept on referring to BoA as my litter sister. Ewan ko tuloy kung totoo, kasi hindi talaga sila magkamukha. Also, she's on the patpatin side and BoA's body is more on the meaty side

I used to listen to K-music until I got tired of it and discovered that J-music is actually light years better (IMHO)

CHOSUN reports that BoA is showing another side of her creativity through her blog and her photography.

According to the article, “Asian superstar BoA unveiled a hidden talent on Wednesday with the launch of her personal blog in Japan (blog.oricon.co.jp/boa). The pop diva plans to use the blog as a new way to interact with her fans by showing her offstage life and sharing her day-to-day musings. She also plans to showcase her own photography, a talent that most of her fans were unaware of.”

“Recently I’ve been thinking of becoming a photographer,” BoA said in an interview not long ago. “I’m usually the one photographed rather than photographing, and I find it fascinating how my look can change depending on who’s taking the photos. I’m interested in photos and cameras, and I take my camera everywhere to take pictures of landscapes and people.”

FANS of  BoA can expect to see her in Hollywood next year, said her mentor, Mr Lee Soo Man, during a lecture with 50 Harvard students visiting Korea last week.

There has been much talk of the 21-year-old singer crossing over to acting, but this is the first time that Mr Lee, who owns SM Entertainment, discussed it openly, said The Chosun Ilbo.

BoA, who is based in Japan and speaks both Japanese and English, has apparently been brushing up on her acting skills and waiting for the right role to come along.

Earlier, she said of her acting dreams: 'Singers embark on activities alone, but actors work together with others to complete one project, and that's something I really look forward to.'

She also posted two photographs that she shot. The blog was quick to attract her fans' attention and was rated first in blog listings by Japan's OriconStyle just one day after it opened.

An undergraduate student majoring in information systems hacked into BoA’s cyworld mini-hompy and found discriminating pictures of her and Danny (ex-g.o.d member). Instead of sharing that picture with rest of us, this low life yet clever hacker blackmailed SM and received 35 million won (US$35,000) in return. Those pictures must be really telling if SM coughed up that much money, but their official reason was “in an attempt to catch the guy.” SM also added that he threatened to spread false rumors about BoA if they didn’t pay up.

But if BoA and Danny were in fact nothing but friends, why did SM pay him to shut him up, while Sidus IHQ didn’t even budge when they received the same threat via email requesting more money? Instead Sidus called the police immediately. Perhaps the picture does more harm to BoA than Danny? Anyhow, the good news is that this cyber-terrorist was caught yesterday and is now behind bars.
