Japanese Haruhi Cast to Perform Live at Anime Expo

Anime Expo, Bandai Entertainment, and Kadokawa Pictures USA have announced that the three main Japanese voice actresses and singers of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya comedy anime will appear and perform at Anime Expo 2007.

The Guest of Honor appearances of Aya Hirano (Haruhi), Yūko Gotō (Mikuru), and Minori Chihara (Yuki) is part of the "SOS Brigade Invasion Tour" campaign. The three will perform live at 4:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 30 at the Long Beach Arena in California. The concert will also include the winners of the Haruhi Dance contest.

Haruhi to Appear on Japanese Nintendo Wii via Kadokawa

Kadokawa Shoten will release The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (tentative title) game for the Japanese Nintendo Wii console. This game, based on Kadokawa's science fiction comedy series of light novels, does not have an announced genre or release date yet. Bandai Namco Games is producing another The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (tentative title) game for the Japanese Sony PlayStation Portable, and Banpresto is producing the Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadō (The Bewilderment of Haruhi Suzumiya) game for the Japanese Sony PlayStation 2.

YEY!! it's the real deal! there's a 2nd season of Suzumiya Haruhi! it has been officially announced on the August issue of Newtype magazine.

The story will begin with Tanabata event that Haruhi mentioned in the first season (when Haruhi wrote that stuff in the school court on the 7th of July).

Last 07/07/07 it released its preview of the 2nd season, click here to watch. well it not much of a preview lol, it's a viral video showing a live-action Haruhi re-enacting the Tanabata story.

Mura na lang Wii ngayon, less than P20,000 na lang. Ewan ko lang kung meron na agad yung hindi Japanese version ng Haruhi. Kasi di ba, hindi region free ang Wii. Kung US version ang Wii mo, ang kaya lang niya i-play ay US version games.

hmm palagay ko Japanese version lang ung haruhi kac ung Naruto dati sa PS2 puro japanese version lng yung nakita ko nde ata nagrelease ng US version but not sure heheh. mura na lang pala Wii ngyun mas mahal pa ang celphone hehe antayin ko pa magmura yan hehe may peke na kaya yan ngyun hehe ung bang tinatawag na modified version.

Actually, may modified na Wii na. Marami daw nagmo-modify sa Greenhills. Kasi yung officemate ko, dun nagpa-modify ng Wii niya, kaya daw nakakaplay siya ng pirated na games. ^_^
