Bleach follows the life of Ichigo Kurosaki, a 15 year old high school student with the ability to see ghosts, and a shinigami (lit. god of death), or Soul Reaper in the English manga, named Rukia Kuchiki, who runs into him one day while searching for a hollow (an evil spirit). During the ensuing confrontation with the spirit, she is wounded and forced to transfer all of her powers into Ichigo. Thus the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia begin. Together they search for hollows and perform soul burials on wayward souls, cleansing the spirits and sending them to Soul Society.


The early parts of the story focus mainly on the relationships between the characters, rather than the actual occupation of the shinigami. However, as events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of these gods of death on the "other side" called Soul Society.

This is one of the anime's I like very much. ok yung action at humor nya...

although recently nagstop ako sa pag-DL at pagsubaybay mula nung matapos yung aizen story line kasi filler arc pa...di ko lang alam kung back to orig storyline na ang anime this time..will check it out..

still waiting for the full-length feature though...

hehe...i also have this harebrained theory that the english title "bleach" is just an engrish ans supposed to be "breach"..working on the logic that the theme of the series are beings breaching into the society/world of the living...heh... [8-|]

Good theory! :Y Uyy....otaku. Hehe, joke! But you do have a point. Kakaintriga kasi itong anime na ito. Really good story, from what I have seen so far from the stuff I watch on the net. Still, mas gusto ko panoorin kung talagang tapos na sya. Wala lang, mas masaya ang marathon pag wala ng putol di ba?

i think i like this story better than naruto. any news kung kelan makukumpleto ang series? ang hirap naman i-marathon kung mabibitin ka rinl ang. but i'd definitely watch this. :Y

makikihingi na din ako ng balita....i stopped downloading bleach episodes when the storyline switched to anime-exclusive filler arcs...


any news if the anime episodes are already back to the manga flow? e yung movie narelease na ba dito? thanks...

Have you guys seen the movie CASSHERN? Did you notice the similarities between CASSHERN music and Bleach music? Same lang pala kasi ang composer nito, Shiro Sagisu. He was working on both CASSHERN and Bleach at the same time, hence the similarities. :Y[8]

ako naman sa tingin ko kaya BLEACH kasi karamihan sa mga characters naka-bleach yung hair... obvious naman kay ichigo diba?

Bleach, I haven't watched most of the episodes, basta gusto ko dun si Ururu, Yachiru, Renji at ang crush ko na si Kenpachi, natawa yung isa kong friend na nanonood din ng BLEACH. Hehehehehe...
