Maganda ang BLACK MAGES pero mas matimbang sa'kin yung mga Progressive Rock arrangements ni Motoi Sakuraba. Probably one of the best. 

 magaling din si yoko kanno [cowboy bebop. etc] :-) pero dbest ang piano collection ni nobuo uematsu. if u want other piano piece [pampatulog] u should try yiruma :-) he's a korean pianist. hehe others brands him as the piano God. try and review him, he's worth the sleepless nights 

yiruma is new age. He's not a game composer.

Maraming mga game composers. Tappy Nagase from Metal Gear, Motoi Sakuraba, Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Hitoshi Sakim (from FF Tactics).

 Yasunori has Celtic and semi-mediterranean roots. Parehas din kay Uematsu. But they're more or less the same.

 Definitely Nobuo Uematsu. No further explanations needed. n___n

 yup i'm aware of that, ^__^ as far as i know, yiruma plays not just new age, he has an album "nocturnal lights...they scatter" that is purely new age. but the rest of his albums [that i have] he plays mostly piano piece but some of his compositions are accompanied by a guitar, or already equipped with vocals [beloved] . I just want to share something that is still related with the topic. of course, yiruma is a composer too. ^___^
