Which Japanese celebs had plastic surgery (whether they admitted it or not)?

I'm thinking Ayumi Hamasaki. Her eyes are overlarge. Eeww..it's so unnatural.

I've seen a lot of these Ayu 'before' pics and it's definitely her. Sobrang laki ng pagbabago nya, di na sya halos ma-recognize dun sa lumang pic. Di naman kasing drastic ni Michael Jackson, pero drastic pa rin. Yung kay Koda, wala pa naman akong nakita. But I'm sure she's had some help. Baka nga lang, di kasing grabe ng kay Ayu.

Yup. Sinabi nya mismo sa isang interview na sinabihan sya before ng management na dapat daw sya magpapayat or else, di sya kikita. She was so-so before. But after the overhaul, dumami na ang fans nya. Yung sexy image, management din ang nag-decide nun. She was against it, but it was the only way for her to sell, so she did it. 

really,,?grabe talaga when your in entertainement,,sometimes you can just say to yourself na "SUPER VAIN "na sila, and they willing to change everything for the sake of fame..im not saying na, sympre theres nothing wrong with taking care of what you have physically, pro sometimes its all that matters na to the point na you live for that alone nalang( lalim hehehe), i saw a old oprah episode i think the title is ADDICTION TO SURGERY, ung isang american girl shes only 36 i think..parang 27  times na ata sya nagpasurgery..nakakatakot kaya itsura nya.para syang ma ppeel when you touch her and weird na ng facial appearance nya, mukang barbi.eh si barbi naman pag ginawang tao, katakot kaya! ..did koda admitted she had something done??if i remember correctly ayu nor avex never admitted na she had them ne?..

however, its also a sad fact na ang society sometimes may apparent discrimination sa mga taong so-so, colored , rich or ung may status sa society. you get judged easily beacuse of those..[:'(]

Koda did not specifically say kung ano ang pinagawa nya. Basta sinabi nya, sinabihan daw syang magpapayat, kasi mataba daw sya. As for Ayu, it's like Michael Jackson saying in one interview "The reports on my surgery are totally ridiculous. I never had anything done to my face" tapos may before and after pics, pero mega deny pa rin si Jacko.

Sabagay, I doubt na merong artista sa Japan ang hindi nagparetoke kahit konti. They have small eyes naturally (when they were born), pero halos lahat ng celebs, ang lalaki ng mata. E mura pa naman ang double eyelid surgery sa Japan. Maski ordinary citizens, nagpapasurgery sa mata. If they can't have surgery, they just use these so-called eyelid glue and eyelid pusher to make double eyelids. I saw a picture tutorial before...kung pano gamitin yung glue and pusher...disgusting! As in, why would anyone subject a sensitive organ to such torture!

i know! sometimes people cant get contented in how they look like!!, super extremes na ung ginagawa nila sa sarili nila. i saw this nga one time ung *** enlargement sa documented TV eeewwww!!! super gross!!!! talaga...i also think jacko is suffering from some kind of mental instability, i also saw a 2 part interview exclusive sa kanya, ayaw nga nya talaga admit na may pinagawa sya, he admitted having 2 nose surgery daw to help him hit higher notes (waaah!!!! black man sya dati then naging white!!! ayaw pa rin aminin!!, pati melanin sa katawan nya pinkialaman na nya) sya nga ata ung celeb na total as in makeover talaga!! muka na sya bungo kaya!!..  i also think that western culture has so much impact sa asian society, na ang definition ng beauty is western based na, and people are going for it..,pati racial traits babaguhin nila for that..to put yourself to self inflicted torture is just way too much!!

- AVEX didn’t let her appear on TV at the start of her carreer. Max Matsuura said: “We were looking for a singer and she was the best one.. but she was VERY ugly and VERY fat”. Max Matsuura is so mean… and he probably don’t have a mirror at home, I mean, he looks like an old monkey… but anyway, she was too ugly and fat to appear on TV and, according to her, she was eating too much because she was very frustrated that any of her singles went TOP 10.

- AVEX said to her “Or you lose weigh or you will be fired”. So she didn’t had an opition. Her boyfriend helped her and she went on a diet (she couldn’t eat anything after 6 PM and she eat mostly fish and drink water and she still does that)

- About AVEX employees she said: “I was always at the building saying Hi to everybody and smiling but everybody just ignored me. It was very hard...”

- Her mother said it was very tought to see her sister, misono, debuting, going on lots of TV shows and winning lots of awards, all of this very quickly while Kuu didn’t had a hit single and she was on the musical industry for a long time. It was very hard for the whole family.

- After a Day After Tomorrow concert, Kumi saw how her sister had lots of controls in her wardrobe, set list, etc. She always believed AVEX knew what to do with her, but after seeing her sister, she decided to opinate more on her carreer.

- She only had her contract renewed because of the “FINAL FANTASY” single, which was a hit. But after that, her sales quickly dropped. She was just another singer, with anything special. So her staff (mostly a female agent who always goes to work in very short-shorts) had the idea of the “ero-kakoii” style.

- She was the first very-sexy local artist and her first single with her new image, LOVE & HONEY, was a big hit. From then on, she kept the image and her sales only went up.

- About the ero-kakoii image she said: “I don’t like it, lots of people have a very negative view of me. But when I talked to AVEX president about that, he said I couldn’t change my image. Maybe in the near future, when I can do what I want, I’ll stop with this ultra-sexy style, but ‘till this day comes, I’ll keep being ero-kakoii”

The third part of the special was “A Month in the Life of Koda Kumi”. It starts at the AVEX office. The office isn’t glamorous at all, it’s just a packed and small room where managers, agents and staff of BoA, Namie Amuro, Ayu, etc works.

They interview the agent who created the “ero-kakoii” image and she takes the reporter to the meeting room. The meeting room is more what we expect, more organized. There is Koda Kumi, they show her taping radio spots, a PV and doing CMs.

At the end, Koda Kumi confirms she had plastic surgery to make her eyes bigger.

I saw the original interview she had for Japan Today. Yun nga rin yung sinabi nya, na napipilitan lang sya with her image and that she wants to change in the future and all. Kelan kaya naman mangyayari yun e people primarily patronize her for her image. Her music is only secondary, because it is not a unique sound in the already saturated Japanese music business.
