Japan facts that turned out to be fictitious

You have beliefs and perceptions about Japan and the Japanese that you found out not true. What are these?

    Ako muna...

never did i think that japan has homeless citizens on the streets, er...uhm, i mean finding their "own" spaces in the subways at night time. they can easily find sleeping mats in any convenience store by just asking for the corrugated boxes and old newspapers as their blankets. how convenient really is in japan.

    ohayo JEstar08!

di naman talaga pulubi kundi for awhile they subject themselves to be bumming around. sila 'ung minsan producto ng either pinalayas sa pamamahay nila for some juvenile acts, siguro katamaran or some kind of kalokohan, or minsan may tinatakbuhang obligasyon.

imo, strange sa akin ito kasi i have known them for being sooo hardworking at economically wise sa mga spending habits nila.

well, kung ang USA na #1 sa most powerful country also in terms of economics ay may mga pulubi, as in pulubi na humihingi ng alms from the public. well, lahat naman siguro ng countries may mga kanya-kanyang mga problema sa economics.

ako rin actually i didn't think that there would be really poor or homeless people in japan, pero when i finally went there and visited the main cities like Tokyo and Nagoya, makakakita ka talaga ng ganun. hindi naman sa pulubi na literally begging for food or money. they're just really homeless people but actually have jobs. they just can't afford having a roof under their heads. sa subway makakakita ako ng mga blankets and stuff that belong to people, pero in the morning they're out at work. wala lang talaga sila bahay =P

pero meron din ako nakita taong grasa dun. siguro mga dalawa. they were reading porn magazines. lol.

Yup. Meron talagang mga homeless. Nakakita rin ako. Pero wala akong na-experience na namalimos.

Re: Japan facts that turned out to be fictitious

My brother's co-workers said this, yung ibang japanese daw sa sobrang taas ng pride nila they continue living their lives the way they used to when they had work. Hindi lahat ng hapon na makakasabay mo na naka-suit are working. Sabi pa nila, you can find these unemployed nihonjin drinking all the coffee they can drink at Starbucks. They drink coffee the whole day and then go home to their families with them thinking na galing ng work ang mga asawa nila.

Here's a japan fact for me, ang tingin ko sa mga japanese before they sex maniacs pero pag pumunta ka dun, you would realize na it really can't be helped coz sex to them is as normal as having to change their clothes everyday. A friend of mine said na the japanese are more into the "exploration" when it comes to sex kaya maraming stores like Condomania. Pero fictitious siya coz i thought na dala lang ng ka manyakan and nothing else. Siguro if that's how we would treat the subject, then baka pareho din ang maging attitude natin regarding it.

    well, that's really something.

Sometimes I make the same mistakes that's why God gives me problems to make me a mature person (seryoso daw ito. Di naman di ba?).

May mga nakita rin akong homeless sa Ueno park. Pero pansin ko may trabaho sila. They do painting. Portrait painting. Gusto ko nga nun sana pero sobrang ginaw. Baka sabihin sa akin na wag akong gumalaw ng matagal. Nya!

Re: Japan facts that turned out to be fictitious

according to my japanese friend as early as 12, they already know about sex. in fact most of them have been practicing it even with their friends or playmates. kaya nga daw maraming sex gadgets stores sa paligid. parang normal na daw sa kanila ang sex even in the early era. i think this is true judging from the way the japanese imperial army behaved during the war. among asian countries i think we filipinos are the only conservative people with regards to sex. maybe something to do with our religion.

yes, lots of these can be found in the subways at night time. in the daytime, either they look for work or report for work or plainly bumming around the metro. but very seldom u see them.

ah wait, there are still circumstances sorrounding their reason for staying in the subways...sa sobrang kalasingan or na late sa train sked and then wala silang okane for the overnight accommodation.
