Aqua Timez returns in 2008 with their 6th single, ? (Niji), to be released on 2008.5.8.!! The title track is described as an encouraging, carefree song that'll make you want to dance. The single will also be used as the theme song of NTV's third season of "Gokusen," which stars Nakama Yukie and will be part of their spring drama lineup. The single is also expected to include the song Honto wa ne, a ballad previously available only for download.

Kensaku Watanabe's movie "Fure Fure Shojo" will have its theme song
provided by the hit band Aqua Timez. The song is a ballad titled "Natsu
no Kakera."

"Fure Fure Shojo" was announced back in March, with
Yui Aragaki starring as a high schooler who takes on the burden of
leading an ouendan to cheer on the boy she loves.

The single is
set to go on sale on October 1 and the movie will open later that
month, but a ringtone for the song is already available. Trailers for
the film begin running in theaters this weekend.

2003 debut, colorful rock band Aqua Timez is releasing their third
album Uta Isarishi Hana. The 15-track album includes two versions of the band's hit single Niji, the theme song of popular drama Gokusen 3, and their three most recent singles Stay Gold, Bleach opening theme Velonica, and Natsu no Kakera, the theme song of the Aragaki Yui-starring movie Fure Fure Shojo. The album also features the original version of their catchy Kirin CM song Kira Kira.

Ako din ay nahilig lang sa Aqua Timez dahil sa Niji. Nagpapasalamat ako at hindi JE ang kumanta ng Gokusen 3 theme -- eh feeling ko hndi sya talaga JE kasi sabi ko, ang astig nung boses nung kumakanta. Eventually, nagustuhan ko rin yung ibang songs tulad ng Chiisana tenohira. Great 'pick-me-up' song ang Niji pag down na down ka or tinatamad ang pakiramdam. ^_^

Anyhoo, they're going to release their first DVD! It's a concert DVD entitled "Aqua Timez still connected tour '09" and it will be released on December 23.

Aqua Timez are currently celebrating the fifth anniversary of their major debut. On the 14th of this month, they released their first best-of album The BEST of Aqua Timez, including three discs of songs and music videos. The compilation reached the first spot on the Oricon charts as of October 21st and its limited edition was already out of print on the first day of sales.

Aqua Timez still connected tour '09 will feature full footage from the group's performance at NHK Hall in Tokyo on May 28th, part of their most recent nationwide tour, as well as extra scenes. This 29 date tour started in March this year, attracting approximately 60,000 people.

After celebrating their fifth anniversary this year, rock band Aqua Timez have planned the release of their first 2010 single, Ehagaki no haru, for January 27th.

Ehagaki no haru has already been heard as the CM song for "Knorr Soup". It consists of a rock song with strings, giving the melody an impressive and beautiful sound. In addition to the TV commercial, the song was also played on the group's regular radio program "Aqua Train" on Christmas Day.

As for the rest of the single's tracklist, it will include the songs Ryuusei no uta and Sora no chikai machi, as well as the instrumental counterpart of Egahaki no haru.
