Yep. It's true. He filmed 2 episodes [December 8 episode plus another episode] of his show, "Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen" [it's all about animals] and he went to Malabon Zoo by going through the squatters area in a padyak/pedicab. LOL. Another one is at Gringo Honasan's house in the province with the tiger and he "walked" the tiger around in an old vintage-ish/old Spanish-style village in the province. My friends and I are guessing it's Gringo Honasan's house since it's like HUGE and he's probably the only one who owns a tiger here.

Do you want to see the episodes? I can upload it now (and I'll probably upload it soon too to put it up in my downloads list).

And I am such a bad fangirl because I didn't know it too! I R FAIL!
But yea, it wasn't announced and there wasn't even a welcoming crowd at the airport.
There goes my chance of seeing a Jyannis. :'(

Yea... The concert was changed to, "The Show Must Go On" with only Golf and Mike aka Thai Johnny's Jrs aka 2/3 of GYM aka Yamapi's puppies. XD

Their interviews in Japan are quite funny though. And they look like they're really sweet to each other. In a totally brotherly way since they are brothers.

Anyways, have you guys ever thought of how extremely lucky Kitchie Nadal is? She was only 2 steps away from Arashi during the recent 3rd Asia Song Festival held in Korea. LUCKY GIRL.

Friends, watch out for Nino in the movie "Letters from Iwo Jima", where he stars with Ken Watanabe. This movie is directed by Clint Eastwood and tells of the Battle of Iwo Jima from the Japanese point of view.

This is a complementary film to "Flags of our Fathers", also by Clint Eastwood and starring Ryan Philippe. :)

Sho Sakurai is my fave member though i love all of them.

and yeap, Aiba came in the Philippines last December2005.

he went to Chavit's house (to take care of his lion and his tiger. so scary..)

and to Malabon Zoo (he took care of Pacquio,the monkey in Malabon zoo.)

i also got the IzaNow DVD and the Hows it going DVD and Suppin Arashi (their first concert!)

and i also purchased Love So Sweet!! theyre still no1 in the Oricon Charts!!

and i watched Letters last March1 in greenblet3 and Nino was so awesome!!

im babbling na. i so love them so much ksi!!

it was Hanadan for me too. although i watched Gokusen first..i really was into Shun Oguri before but then when i watched HYD..wla na ... Tsukasa na forever!! and Wish!! the dance steps was so funny!! Kitto Daijoubu!!! thats my first downloaded single of Arashi!! ang saya saya ng PV non!! yeap!! Aiba had been here!! i got a copy at home!! gusto mo ng kopya? i can give u one!! i wanna spread the Arashi rabu!! hahaah!! the movie is so great!! the DVD will be out on May. demo ne.... wlang english subs! im waiting for the US release!! im glad ur a fan of Arashi!!!

they are really a bunch of great guys. i love them all. eventhough mejo lamang yung kay Sho ng 10%. hehehe!!

and another news ne: their new single "We can make it" will be released on May2. "We can make it" is the OST for Bambino which is a Matsujun drama that will air starting April18 in Japan. that single also includes "Di Li Li", the ost of their CM "C1000" and "Future".

regular is 1050yen and limited is 1200yen. Limited got 3 songs (We can make it, Di Li Li and Future) while Regular ed will have "We can make it" and "Di Li Li" and their Karaoke versions.

i was suppose to order it demo...im saving for the new album in June! baka kc may DVD na naman!!

Nino singing Nada Sousou, (originally by Natsukawa Rimi) one of my ultimate favorite songs. It's an Okinawan song, and the one that Nino sang is the standard Japanese version. Meron version nito, in the Okinawan dialect, which I have and which I totally do not understand!! :p

I dunno why, but I love Arashi. The thing is that they're really not-that-good singers (I mean, compare them to some solo artists). But I find their songs very catchy. Very catchy. Plus the fact that you can groove to the songs is really nice, too. I especially love their recent singles (plus their upcoming one, which sounds quite nice, too.) and two of their albums (How's it Going and Arashic [A lot of big-band-ish sounds, plus, its really very chic]). Here's mt top 5:

5: Te Agero

4: Hero (This is the first song I heard from Arashi)

3: Love so sweet (love the lyrics)

2: Kitto Daijoubu

and this one, you'll find unusual. I am addicted to this song, in fact, this is practically my theme song:

waah. have u heard the Recomen version of "Only Love"? Aiba sang it in his radio program!! and he sang "Arashi, Arashi for dream" at the end in the tune of Only love.

and speakin of HIG? con... Paretto is so rabu. and for me the HIG? album is thebest Arashi album... Te Agero, Lucky man, Hadashi no Mirai, Blue, Arashi no mae shizukesa..etc are the best ones they got!!

oh and there new concert DVD release was announced yesterday noonand u know what? i was supposed to preorder it this morning demo...Limited ED is "Out of Print" in Cdjapan...i was like thinkin what the heck? waaah. now, i got no Limited Ed copy of the con!!!

when i first heard it... sho said, "Arashi in the house, Yo!" and then goes,,"Di-LiLi..Di-Li-Li..." they sounded like BEES..hahaha. demo..i love the song!! and "We can make it" is just love!!! and i love the PV too!! i saw the preview and it was so rabu. the boys in white!! parang GnoArashi outfits pero white!! and pinalabas daw un sa dome con kahapon sa Osaka.. at the end and they sang like 6? encore songs daww!! nyak!

thats like the most encore songs they sang!!

recent about them:

-their dome concerts in Tokyo and Osaka were a HUGE success.

-their single "We can make it" was in the top spot at the Oricon charts.

-Nino' movie "Letters from Iwo Jima" DVD will be released on May22nd.

-Arashi's concert DVD "Arashi Around Asia" will be released on May23. LE and RE are available for preorder at Yesasia and Cdjapan. (LE (2disc DVD with a bonus DVD of the Taiwan con) is 8000+yen and RE is 3500yen)

-Sho is in Australia a few days ago for NewsZero.

-Jun's spring drama "Bambino" is currently shown in Japan. its a manga based dorama AGAIN. XDDD

they will be releasing their 9th album on July 11, 2007.

Limited Edition has 14 songs and the other free disc has 5 solo songs.

Solo songs are: "Yabai! Yabai! Yabai!" (Matsujun), "Dont Let Me go" (Sho), "Niji" (Nino), "Friendship" (Aiba) and "A Song for me" (Ohno)

RE has the 14 songs plus 1 bonus track.

songs included are "Aozora Pedaru",. "Love So Sweet" and "We can Make It".

everyone is in a rush, i preordered my copy at 3pm.

and by 4pm,LE isout of print in CdJapan.

what do u mean bundled DVD? they just released a DVD (AAA dvd)so i think the next DVD(this year's Natsu con) will be next year. or prolly on December..and i have this gut feeling that it'll be the Dome con.

they are makin me so poor.

there rumours that Arashi will sing the OST for Nino and Sho's drama "Yamada Taro Monogatari". meaning that it will be the 3rd single this year.

Arashi is known to release just 2singles and 1 album per year (except for 2004 where they released 2 albums ---->; 5x5 is a 5th year anniversary album)

so in 3 seasons, they released 3singles.

maa. im gonna be poor.

i cant wait to hear the song "Longest Night"!!!

yeap, it is confirmed. "Happiness" is Arashi 3rd single this year (theyre makin a new single evey season. LOL) and it is the OST of Sho and Nino's drama "Yamada Taro Monogatari" which will air next Friday in TBS.
You can hear Happiness in the YaTaMo cms already. so nice. and it is confirmed in the Yamada site.
the date of release is August 7 or 8. and i think Preorder at CdJapan will be available next week.
im gonna watch CdJapan closely coz LE runs out fast there.
i was thinkin, i havent received TIME yet and they will release a new single...
they are makin me so poor.

and the compilation album is an uwasa. i think it may happen but then again it may not ne?? and uwasas like that tend to happen. demo..when they released 5x5 it was October ne?? so they MIGHT released it on the last quarter of this year...
and a possible 4th single on the last quarter of the year since SHO will act in the TV Series version of "Honey&Clover" which he will star with girl in 1Liter of Tears ne?

Actually, still thinking of buying the 5x5 comp album with the DVD, but its sooo expensive (I'm running on a tight university student budget here...). SHO announced in ShoBeat last weekend that the release of their 3rd single Happiness will be in September5. 2weeks before my birthday~~ YAY~~
it was written in POPOLO as well.
and i think a 4th single is impossible.
what im thinkin is that Honey&Clover drama series will still use Aozora Pedaru.
thats just my guess.

In response to the news surfacing about actress Nagasawa Masami (20) and Arashi member Ninomiya Kazunari (24) dating, agencies of both parties completely denied the said information.

Explained Johnny's Jimusho, Ninomiya's agency, the two are just colleagues who have gone out to eat once or twice, and nothing more. On the other hand, Toho Geinou, Nagasawa's agency, said that there is no confirmation of the issue from Nagasawa herself, and the agency is puzzled as to why such reports surfaced.

One reason for such information may be the fact that both parties co-starred in 'Yasashii Jikan' in 2005. Reports said that since they appeared in the dorama, they have maintained a serious relationship in a span of two years, and have reportedly changed residences to be near each other.

has been chosen as the main caster for Fuji TV's broadcast of the 2007
Volleyball World Cup, which will last from November 2 to December 2.

The World Cup marks a significant event in Arashi's history -
shortly after their debut, Arashi served as special supporters for the
1999 competition, and their debut single "A-RA-SHI" was used as the
image song, bringing them widespread fame.

This time around, the new Johnny's group Hey! Say! JUMP will be providing support and the image song, "Ultra Music Power."

Ohno's talent for art is well known among his fans, and many have been hoping to see his art in person. The exhibit includes approximately 150 works in several forms, such as drawings, figures, photos, and graffiti. It will run from February 21 to 29 and is admission-free.

As part of TBS's programming shuffle this spring, the network's
Thursday 10:00pm drama time slot is being turned into a variety show
slot, occupied by a currently-unnamed show hosted by popular group Arashi.

TBS recently revealed that its Saturday 8:00pm block is switching from
variety to drama. The swap of the two time slots is motivated by
concerns about falling ratings, and the network hopes that Arashi can
provide a much-needed boost.

The Thursday slot has become well-established as a drama block
for the station, but ratings have been low in recent years. Dramas in
that time slot face direct competition from Fuji TV, which has
meanwhile managed to broadcast several hit shows, including "Iryu 2," "Dr. Coto's Clinic 2006," and "Densha Otoko."
Other networks also have successful shows airing at the same time:
"Downtown DX" (NTV) and "Houdou Station" (TV Asahi). TBS has decided to
shift its strategy, focusing more on attracting older teens and
twenty-somethings.

Arashi's show is their first time hosting during "golden time"
(7pm-10pm). It will apparently deal with social and cultural topics.
Producer Saori Hirata is in charge of the program. Broadcast begins in

Love So Sweet is perhaps my fave Arashi song. I'm not
into boybands kasi but I love watching their j-doramas kaya yung mga
alam ko lang na songs nila are usually from the OST's. And I have
friends who are boyband fanatics so they keep on showing me the latest
PV's and see the latest music and news. I also like watching the
TV shows they host, like SMAPxSMAP, G no Arashi, Cartoon Kattun,
etc. They're hilarious kasi.

Like right now,
I'm watching Yamada Tarou Monogatari. Hehe, as usual ang kulet
nanaman ni Nino dito. Sho is ok in this too, pero medyo weak yung
character nya.

wacky and weird. He is soo cool lalo na pag may kasama syang

hehe, joke!). As for Kattun, I like them as actors, comedy din
yung Cartoon Kattun. Hehe, Tsuyoshi Domoto is a good actor too,

Well, Arashi is not as big as Hikki. Hikki isn't even promoting much. Yet. Hikki wrote in her blog this morning that she's going to appear in tomorrow's Music Station (I am not sure when is the air date). nd Lara-san is right. JE ito, so malamang lahat ng PR machinery nila, pinagana nila para lang mag-top. No offense to Arashi fans, ok?

Yun na nga eh, they're not as big pero ~meh~. I really hope you're right, sana mag-pick up na yung sales. I'm so upset...that if the sales won't improve...I will buy Heart Station (I'm that upset about it, then again maybe I'll buy it for the sake of it.)! It won't do much, but I can't go on with just complaining about it. I like Arashi, but I don't really like the single that much anyway. Well, Arashi is not as big as Hikki. Hikki isn't even promoting much. Yet. Hikki wrote in her blog this morning that she's going to appear in tomorrow's Music Station (I am not sure when is the air date). nd Lara-san is right. JE ito, so malamang lahat ng PR machinery nila, pinagana nila para lang mag-top. No offense to Arashi fans, ok?

Your best bet is really to buy online, or if you have friends from Japan (or even Singapore, Hong Kong), pwede ka magpabili sa kanila. ^_^ Nasubukan mo na pala sa eBay? Yung mga binebenta naman na J-music stuff sa mga Comic Alley, bootleg copies yun kaya ingat ka na lang if you really want original items. Good luck!

I dunno, sa tingin ko lang HIG yung nag-define ng Arashi sound. Yun din yung album na nagpakita nung flexibility nila. At syempre, nandun yung Lucky Man. I kinda liked Time, gusto ko yung LE. I really liked yung Yabai-Yabai-Yabai. (Jun's not a great singer...pero, why the hell does he have the good solos?~~~ haha joke lang. peace!)

This Flash magazine issue went on sale yesterday and (if you look at the bottom right hand corner in the orange box it says Sakurai Sho + MatsuJun’s idol 4P photos — does anybody know what 4P means? Haha sorry I am quite ignorant) contains in it photos of Sho and MatsuJun with 2 other girls roughly 10 years ago, before Arashi was even formed.

Apparently there were two other females in the photos who were also idols from a group called “L” , which was a female idol group with 15 members which debut-ed in 1996 but broke up only two months later. The photos were taken in one of the girl’s houses - the gossip source called them girls A and B. MatsuJun’s face is described as being very close to girl A (whose house they were all in) and Sho was allegedly dating girl B at the time. In addition, the girls were 18 years old, about 2 or 3 years older than both boys.

aoi29.. sa online shops like CDJapan, HMV, Amazon, YesAsia and Play-Asia. If you're looking for a store here.. wala kang mabibilhan. But, there are online Pinoy sellers on LJ and (sometimes) EbayPH na nagbebenta..some are fairly priced, some are too pricey(dahil narin cguro sa customs. anlaki kasi nila maningil ng tax pag naharang package).

Grabeh naman kc, wala pang 1 hr after i-post aba ubos na agad >;_<Even sa YesAsia.. before matagal cla maubusan ng LE ngayon after ilang days ubos na. That means lumalawak ang fanbase nila.

may question ako.. san po nakakbili ng original cds and dvds ng japanese
artists dito sa pinas? pati magazines nga gusto ko din malaman kung may
nagtitinda dito. hindi ko man mabasa, titignan ko nalang yung pictures!!:D edit:*ayan kasi, hindi nagbabasa. meron palang thread tungkol sa kung san pwedeng bumili ng cds and dvds ng japanese artists dito sa pinas. *

haha oo nga. nakakatawa to lalo na nung pinadapo yung eagle sa braso nya "DANGER DANGER.. DANGER DANGER.. VERY DANGER NE?" tawa na ako nang tawa sa part na to.

hindi ko nakitang shinampoo nya yung ahas. pero nakita ko na nung nilabas yung albino na sawa, talaga namang kung pwede lang syang manakbo pabalik ng Japan gagawin nya right there and then. lol. nakakatawa nga sya eh. hindi sya halos natakot sa tigreng posibleng sumagpang sakanya pero sobrang takot sya dun sa sawa at sa ibon.:D

A few more cast members have been formally announced for the TBS drama
series "Maou." The show, remade from a 2007 Korean series, was revealed
earlier this month, starring Satoshi Ohno as a revenge-seeking lawyer
and Toma Ikuta as a detective.

Hitori Gekidan will be playing an
elite company president who is also Ikuta's older brother. Koji
Ishizaka has been cast as their father, while Yuji Miyake plays Ikuta's
boss.

It has also been mentioned that tarot cards will play a
key role in the series. Gekidan commented that he has been studying

With Sho Sakurai having been appointed as the main caster for NTV's broadcast of the Olympic Games, it comes as no surprise that Arashi
has been chosen to provide the theme song for the network's Olympic
coverage. This will actually be their second Olympic song, as "Hero"
was used by NTV for the 2004 Games in Athens.

Their new tune is titled "Kaze no Mukou e" and will be released on August 20.

Arashi is in Taipei, Taiwan right now for their AAA2008 concert. They arrived at the airport at exactly 11:50am, 2 days ago wherein they were welcomed by 400-500 fans.

The production (backstage) number of staff for this concert is said to be one of the biggest in the history of the Taipei Arena with a number of 200 people, plus 300 costumes.The backup dancers are Johnny's Junior groups 'M.A.D' and 'Boys'.

11 types
of souvenirs such as t-shirts, poncho, penlight, towel etc. would be sold in this concert. Arashi will be
leaving Taipei tomorrow, October 13, at 9:45am flying ANA NH1084.

ako'y makikisingit para lang i-anunsyo na arashi fan na rin ako! hahaha! all-time favorite ko talaga yung We Can Make It nila. hehehe. tapos unti-unti na rin akong naeexpose sa kanilang mga dramas... idol ko si nino sa acting! hangkyut kyut! tas oo nga pala! akalain nyo, may something in common pala ang arashi at ajikan kahit papano? whooo! sa animated movie na Tekkon Kinkreet eh si Nino ang nagboses sa isang bida, tapos Ajikan naman ang gumawa ng theme song para sa movie na yun. WHOOO! odiba! XD
