He purchased a palatial residence in Beverly Hills in 2004 which Shaquille O'Neal, basket ball player, sold bacause of transference to another team. His nickname is "Himurock".

Some trivias on him:

+ "Wild Romance" was used as an ending theme music of "Van Helsing" that was dubbed into Japanese language.

+ He has ever played the music with Steve Stevens. For example, Stevens participated in Himuro's album as a guitarist and his concert tour after his album "I?DE?A".

+ When he was 23 years old, he married his wife who is an acquaintance from high school days. He is the father of 2 sons and 1 daughter.

+ On August 22, 2004, he held a concert, which is title "21th Century Boowys VS HIMURO", in Tokyo Dome. He sang many BOØWY era's songs after sixteen years' silence in this concert.

+ Most recently, Himuro's song "CALLING", from his 1989 album "NEO FASCIO", was used as the Theme Song to the highly anticipated 2005 CG Film . The film's director Tetsuya Nomura has noted that Himuro's music has been highly influential in his own work, and when asked about his contribution to the film, Himuro said that he was happy his work would be used in "the best CG movie ever made in Japan".

>>> And that movie is Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children :)

RAKISTA! \m/

Nawindang ako nung narinig ko yung sarili niyang version ng Keep the Faith. Nakakarindi. Ang ingay! Hahaha. Pero ganun talaga. Cool naman eh. :D Si Jin daw ang inspiration niya nung sinulat niya yung song na yun. Haha. :D

Gustong-gusto ko yung boses niya, ang hot ng dating kasi ang baba na hindi ko maintindihan :P Haha. Napanuod ko yung Keep the Faith perf niya, as expected, mas heavy kesa sa KAT-TUN version. Mas gusto ko! :)
