Upload your pictures of Japanese-related events like cosplay, culture, games, seminars in our gallery! Share your pictures where others can see, comment and rate ^_^
Guidelines:
1.) An album is made per event under a certain year (e.g., 2009). If an event's album is not yet created, kindly request them here. Please provide the complete title of the event including its date (e.g., Ozine Fest April 3-5, 2009).
2.) Users who belong in the group "Promoted Users" or users who have had at least 10 posts and has been a member for a week are allowed to upload in the galleries. Uploads can be seen immediately in an album.
3.) Each album or event can have a maximum of 100 pictures. When the quota is reached, the album will be closed for uploads. You can still upload pictures but you will not be able to see the pictures in the album. This is an indication that you cannot submit any pictures anymore.
4.) You can upload a picture with a maximum of 650px X 650px (usually it's 640px X 480px) or 300KB. You can use any online resizing tool like: shrinkpictures.com (http://www.shrinkpictures.com/), resize2mail.com (http://www.resize2mail.com/), PunyPng (http://www.punypng.com) and Smush.it (http://www.smush.it); or download a tool like: faststone.org (http://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDetail.htm). Note: these are just suggested tools and we have not tested them. You can also use Photoshop and other tools you might have.
5.) You can upload these file types: JPG, GIF and PNG.
6.) You cannot upload two different pictures that have the same elements even though they have different angles or positions. To clarify, we will use the pictures below:

These pictures are different but since they have the same cosplayers, the duplicate picture will not be allowed. Pictures like this will be moderated and one of the two pictures will be retained based on the discretion of the moderator on which is better.
7.) Uploads are treated in a first-come-first-served manner.If you upload a picture that is considered a duplicate of an existing picture, yours will be deleted.
8.) Based on the general rule of Japinoy.com any pictures uploaded deemed offensive, nude, biased and the likes will be deleted immediately.
9.) To upload to go the Gallery (http://www.japinoy.com/forums/umg.php) and click the UserCP (not the UserCP on the top-most menu of Japinoy.com but the UserCP under the Gallery page. Then click Upload.
